Goal 2: to reduce the threats and mitigate the impacts of threatening processes on forest biological diversity should be considered here. Activity (a) under objective 1: prevent the introduction of invasive alien species is important here as it encourages Parties to reinforce, develop and implement strategies at a regional level to prevent and mitigate the impacts of IAS.
