  • Ensure that information on the vulnerability of coastal wetlands is made available to integrated coastal zone management (ICZM) processes: Ramsar Resolution VIII.4, 13 and Ramsar Resolution VIII.4, Annex (Principles and guidelines for incorporating wetland issues into Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM)) SEE COMMENTARY 1
  • Use the network of World Heritage properties to demonstrate management actions that need to be taken to meet threats posed by climate change to natural heritage, both within the properties and in their wider context: WHC Decision 29 COM 7B.a, 10
  • EU Commission to adopt guidelines for monitoring and reporting the emission of greenhouse gases and ensure that emissions are monitored accordingly; Member States to ensure that operators report annually on installation emissions: EU Directive 2003/87/EC, Article 14
