Directly relevant obligations and commitments

• Support the initiative for a concerted programme of education and public awareness: Ramsar Resolution VI.19, 7+10
• Support international networks for peatland training and education: Ramsar Recommendation 6.1, 13
• Promote international coordination of measures to further public awareness of wetland values in reserves: Ramsar Recommendation 5.8

• Cooperate with other States and organizations in developing educational and public awareness programmes: CBD Article 13b
